Founded by the stationer Claus-Johannes Voss ,the banker Alfred Nehemias and the engineer August Eberstein in 1908. Their first model was the Rouge Et Noir in 1909 followed in 1910 by the pen that was later to give the company its new name, Montblanc. On September 20th, Hollywood superstar,famous actor Nicolas Cage, the Montblanc brand ambassador, together with the Chinese actress Tang Wei and a handful of execs for the opening of Montblanc's new store at Guangzhou's Taikoo Hui. The new Taikoo Hui location is Montblanc's largest in southern China, considering its size, the store features a sizable VIP area, always a plus in China.

Cage, who took part in a Montblanc event earlier this year in Beijing, this time come to China again was full of curious about Guangzhou , he said, "I'm really happy that Montblanc invited me to come back to China, to Guangzhou.
